An actress with nearly 100 acting credits to her name, Megan Follows is still perhaps known best for her role as Anne Shirley in the TV mini-series “Anne of Green Gables”, and its sequels “Anne of Avonlea” and “Anne of Green Gables: The Continuing Story”; her portrayal of Anne Shirley brought her two Gemini Awards for Best Performance by a Lead Actress in a Dramatic Program or Mini-Series, in 1987 and ‘88, and the same year she was also nominated for the CableACE Award for Actress in a Movie or Miniseries.
